WHAT IS
PROFESSIONAL
BASEBALL
INSTRUCTIONAL?
Since 2017, PBI has become the premier instructional showcase – designed to give players the opportunity to learn from some of the best baseball men in the business.
HOW IS PBI DIFFERENT?
Unlike other traditional showcases where players are strictly judged on a work out that usually entails a few ground-balls and swings, PBI does more…
Designed for All
From the ground up, PBI was structured to benefit any athelete at every level.
No Favoritism
From the youngest player in the camp to the D1 commits, everyone is treated the same at PBI.
Full Assessment
Players take over 200 swings and field over 200 ground balls to give instructors a complete and accurate assessment.
PBI SHOWCASE
For Uncommitted Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors Only
The Uncommitted Showcase includes:
- Pro Testing & Evaluation
- Nutional & Strength/Conditioning Guidance (upon request)
- Each athlete will showcase their skills in front of over 20 schools and scouts who are committed to attending
- Testing is completed by professional coaches and scouts
INSTRUCTIONAL CAMP
This is a position-oriented camp. Each player will pick one spot and stick with it for that day. If you wish to do multiple positions you must register for Saturday & Sunday.
PITCHERS
The day will start with registration followed by introductions. Then, pitchers will be broken off into their own group.
Pitchers will have a classroom session with Danny Clark and his assistants, moving into drill work and mechanics. Before we break for lunch we will have an academic talk. When we return back from lunch players will break back into groups and work through the end of camp switching from offense to defense or vice versa. During which time the pitchers will continue their work and moving into bullpen sessions as the end of the day arrives.
POSITIONAL PLAYERS
The day will start with registration followed by introductions. Then players will be split by positions breaking up into defensive and offensive sets.
Position players will be pushed both physically and mentally to learn the finer points of the game on both sides of the ball. Before we break for lunch we will have an academic talk. When we return back from lunch players will break back into groups and work through the end of camp switching from offense to defense or vice versa.
PARENTS/GUARDIANS
We will have an optional parent kick out session when we return from lunch where coaches will meet with parents and discus any issues or questions they have with recruiting or baseball in general.
MULTIPLE POSITIONS?
If you would like to receive coaching on multiple positions, you will need to register for both Instructional Camp days. Each day only focuses on one position to give the athlete the highest quality of instruction and coaching.
