WAIVER & RELEASE

I have been invited to participate in the Professional Baseball Instructional (also known as “PBI”) Showcase on December 27th, December 28th, and December 29th at Baylor School High School (the “Event”).  I understand and agree that I am participating in the Event at my own risk, and neither the Professional Baseball Instructional Showcase nor Baylor School will be responsible for any injury that might occur as a result of my participating.  I understand that participating in the Event poses risk of physical injury, including but not limited to the risk of being struck by batted and thrown balls, bats, and other objects. I have advised the Professional Baseball Instructional Showcase that I willingly accept and assume responsibility for all such risks, and agree to release and hold harmless the Professional Baseball Instructional Showcase and the releases set forth herein from any liability for any type of personal injury, including death, or property damage that I might sustain as a result of the Event. I understand that this is the only basis upon which the Professional Baseball Instructional Showcase would permit me to participate in the Event.

Accordingly in consideration of receiving permission to participate in and be present at the Event, I, on behalf of myself and my heirs do hereby fully release and discharge the Professional Baseball Instructional Showcase, and their partners from and against any and all claims, actions, proceedings, liabilities, losses, damages and expenses (including but not limited to attorneys’ fees) related directly or indirectly to bodily injury, including death, illness, or damage to personal property incurred by me related in any way to my participation in the Event.  This is a complete and irrevocable release of liability and waiver. Without claim brought by other persons on my behalf, or on their own behalf based on their relationship to me. I further agree not to sue or assert a claim of any sort against any of the releases for or in connection with any Claims I may have that are released or waived herein.
